The Golf
Oak Point Golf Course
- Tucked away in the center of Hope Plantation, just outside of the Kiawah gate, lies Oak Point. This Clyde Johnston jewel, most frequently called a Scottish-American style course, is a par 72 layout. It is challenging to the novice golfer and the experienced professional while providing a fair test. Bordering the historic Haulover Creek and the Kiawah River, Oak Point was built on the grounds of an old indigo and cotton plantation. Finishing along the panoramic Kiawah River, golfers will be delighted at another example of quality golf that Kiawah Island has to offer. Last summer, its new clubhouse opened adjacent to the 18th green overlooking the Haulover Creek
Turtle Point GC
One year before the Ryder Cup Matches were played at The Ocean Course, Kiawah hosted the club professionals' version of the international match-play competition when the 1990 PGA Cup Matches were played at Turtle Point. The PGA of America is just one of many organizations that have selected the Jack Nicklaus design as the site of a premier event. At 6,914 yards from the back markers with five par fours stretching 420 yards or longer, the course offers a tough test for all golfers.
Osprey Point Golf Course
Designed by the consensus pick as the best contemporary architect in golf, Osprey Point is a classic Tom Fazio layout. It's also a classic example of why Fazio enjoys such a lofty professional perch. At Osprey Point, Fazio had a superb natural canvas on which to create a masterpiece in playability and variety. The course was lengthened to 6871 yards, state-of-the-art cart paths were installed, and several holes were lengthened. An elegant clubhouse now stands overlooking the immaculate driving range.
Harbour Town Golf Links
Harbor Town Golf Links is a spectacular course designed by Pete Dye and Jack Nicklaus, and annually hosts the RBC Heritage in the week following the Masters. In 2010 Golf Digest ranked it as the #13 course in the USA and the tour players chose it as the 2nd best course on Tour. This design, which inspired the creation of TPC Sawgrass, is located within the Sea Pines Resort, on the island of Hilton Head, and is characterized by requiring great precision due to its narrow fairways, intimidating bunkers, and crossed hazards

Hilton Head National Golf Club
Hilton Head National Golf Club has earned a reputation as one of the best public courses in the area. This course was a collaboration between Gary Player and Bobby Weed, with each designing 9 holes. The course features large greens with pronounced undulations. It's a challenging course, but not overly penalizing

Country Club of Hilton Head
- The golf course is an 18-hole Rees Jones design and was chosen as the local qualifying site for the 1999 and 2005 U.S. Opens. A challenging but fair layout with five sets of tees, the course presents distinct views with 14 doglegs and water on almost every hole. Players negotiate a stately pine forest, salt-water marshes and fresh water lagoons.

Arthur Hills Golf Course at Palmetto Dunes
Arthur Hills made the most of the spectacular coastal beauty of the area when designing this award-winning course at Palmetto Dunes. Hidden within the tranquil Leamington area, this course, made for the imaginative player, meanders through dunes, narrow fairways, numerous water hazards, and large palmetto trees. Above all, this course emphasizes precision and good decision-making over distance throughout the round, with very clever and challenging holes.
